during this time of year depresion shoots up like a rocket
people feel lonly
so while your out shoping for shit you dont need
try to remeber some one in your life you think might need something more important that a present
like your love and freindship
happy holidays folks
(sorry if people get offended by the language)
Wow, this is a really nice piece. And such an original idea. I do agree with your reasoning, it's far to easy to get caught up in the consumerism of christmas. I must say that i love giving presents, but you're very right, giving someone love and friendship will last longer than any material thing. Congrats on the wonderfully satirical photo.
Bwahahahaha!! THAT'S AWESOME!!! I myself being Athiest/Jewish(I like presents so I celebrate Channukah) and whatnot, Christmas isn't the thing for me, ya know. Either way, the christmas lights hanging you is great, the little santa drawing's hilarious, and the bitten cookie makes the mood perfect! Way to be way to be.
This is really original - it gets the point across - good stuff

I love the Message you're getting across. I think it's a wonderful picture, but when I first saw it, I didn't really see the lights, you should make them stand out a little more.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
