this is my first time being active on DA in a LONNNNGGG ass time. i was about to get back into being active again while i was at art center... but then Jark got booted out of here. and that sort of was the final nail in the coffin of the once tight knit group that was DA. guess this will jsut be a place for me to store some images to show the occasional person every now and then.  the other reason i havent submited anything for a while, is because of Artcenter... that palce takes a lot out of me, and doesnt leave much time for eating, and sleeping much less being active in an online comunity.

might as well come bakc here for a little bit and be a bit more active, befor i have to head back to LA in a month. maybe wheni gradutate ill be able to work on my DA acount more, or maybe jark will cook up a new enterprise.

last term i tried to create a new method of painting dealing with experimentation of the capabilitys of paint itself

and nothing more
it seemed to be a prettty simple concept in which i arrived with the "pealed paintings"

today i had a crit of the stuff that i made and it turns out the same movement had happend .... nearly 40 years ago ... how frigan depressing a movment i never knew existed or heard anything about had already happend and run its corse
and here i am 60 years later totaly ignorant of the fact thinking i had something new ... bummer hahha

i cant help but feeling that after ruffly 5000 years of art making that humanity is doomed to no longer being capable of new methods iwht in the art world we will forever be doomed from now on to recreate what has been created .... so why bother

i think a similar problem happend to classical music when there was a time that evey note had been played in every possible combination what do you do then ?

perhaps new technoligys will be our only anwser in an attempt to create something new ... with something new
but i belive enevitably that we will only be recreating the past with a new method

yea just my ramblings on a thought that art will soon be nothng more than recreation of history

ok i just finished my final project for my analysis of form class

wow that took a long time and cost about 200 bucks hahah

maybe ill post some of the renderes here when im done

i dont sleep much any more and i havent gotten to make much personal art work

which is kind of a bummer maybe ill submit more of my old unpublished stuff soon i have been slakin here at DA and i feel kinda bad about that cause this is the place that really kept me going with my art work and ended up helping me land a place at Art Center

hmm oh well

people describe it ina few ways

- its like taking a drink from a fire hose .... you could die of thrist
- its like med school with out the blood


theres soooo much work and soooooo much information and incredible people that its overwhelliming

ive only been here for 2 months and im totaly in love with what im learning and experienceing
soooo much knowledge that i cant type it all up

sooo sorry to anyone hoping i would submit some more work i think that once i get to a break here at school ill submit and comment some more again but right now with class i hardly have time to sleep and eat much less talk and hang out at DA like i used to

sooo yea ill keep stoping by and commenting on the work that  im totaly in love with
